Kitchen Assistant required for our 2008 season, assisting the kitchen team with food prep and washing up. Our centre is based on a converted Mersey Ferry, permanently moored in the stunning Salcombe Estuary. If you want the chance to learn to sail for free, and live on a boat in a truly unique environment, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. You could be part of the fun, dedicated team at the ICC.
You will be enthusiastic, keen to learn and prepared for the hard work of cleaning, washing-up and food prep but it is offest by working in such a fun atmosphere and the opportunity to try different watersports and outdoor activities.
The Head cook, Assistant Cook and Kitchen Assistant work on a rota system to provide 3 cooked meals a day for the adults and/or children staying with us on sailing and activity courses.
Ideal for people looking simply for a really fun summer, to begin a career in catering or for a way into the outdoor industry.
