In addition to our four residential centres in the UK, there are also exciting and diverse opportunities for course delivery on a national and international level.

Positions are full time and permanent and are available at our centres in Aberdovey, Loch Eil or Ullswater. A comprehensive remuneration package is offered.

Requirements

You should have completed Summer Mountain Leader and Single Pitch Award training, and you should be working towards one of the following water-based qualifications:

• BCU UKCC Level 1 Coach plus 3* (canoe or kayak), or BCU Level 2 coach (canoe or kayak)
• RYA Dinghy Instructor or Coastal Skipper Award

You should also be able to demonstrate a practical ability to deliver personal development courses to young people.

In addition, the following are mandatory requirements:

• clean driving licence (preferably including D1 entitlement)
• valid First Aid Certificate

Interviews for all positions at all centres will be held on 12, 16, 17 September 2008 and 11 November 2008.

These positions are subject to an enhanced Disclosure Check through the Criminal Records Bureau.
