We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager for our Colonna, Antigua Club.
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel and it’s staff. You’ll hold commercial accountability for planning, organising and directing all hotel services including front-of-house (reception, concierge, reservations), food & beverage operations and housekeeping. While taking a strategic overview and planning ahead to maximise profits, you must also pay attention to the local relationships within the Antiguan environment. In addition you will work with the UK Sunsail team to achieve the required levels of customer service and revenue.
You'll be responsible for:
* Planning and organising hotel accommodation, catering and other hotel services
* Promoting and marketing the business in the local environment
* Managing budgets, financial plans and controlling expenditure
* Maintaining statistical and financial records in accordance with the company standards
* Setting and achieving sales and profit targets within the hotel
* Recruiting, training and monitoring staff with the relevant department heads
* Planning work schedules for individuals and teams, and managing them to completion
* Meeting and greeting customers
* And other responsibilities |

Business and people management are equally important elements of this role.
Successful candidates will have good hotel experience in club resorts. |
