Looking for a job in the French Alps this winter?
We are a small company, big on service.
POSITION 1: DRIVER (Including GENERAL DUTIES)
The successful applicant’s primary responsibility will be to drive Snowchateaux customers to train stations / airports primarily on the Weekend, along with other local driving work necessary. In addition the Driver role is seen as a cover to our staff who may fall ill, be injured etc.
POSITION 2: DRIVER (Including Cover for chalet cook role & GENERAL DUTIES)
You will have the culinary skills necessary to cover for the Chalet Chef should they fall ill etc.
The driver should provide excellent hospitality, service and assistance to guests to ensure their transport and holiday exceeds their expectations.
* Generally, our chalet teams are quite small so all team members must be prepared to take a hands-on approach to every aspect of the work. From cooking to snow clearing or ski hosting, a professional yet fun loving approach is crucial.
* If you are needed to cover for illness for the cooks role - you will be preparing and serving breakfast (continental with cooked option) on 6 days, afternoon tea, and a delicious 3 course evening meal. There will be assistance where required for food prep, service etc. You will be asked to contribute to menu design and undertake the chalet food shopping (with assistance) and stock control.
* If you have to cover for the general hosting role you will work with others to assist in food preparation, food service, cleaning and other associated duties .
* You will be doing this 6 days a week for between 12 and 21 guests.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Applicants must be creative, hardworking and have lots of stamina.
* You must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused and self motivated.
* A high level of personal hygiene and enthusiasm for the role is required.
* Fun-loving personalities who love to help /perform their daily chores/make conversation & spend time with guests, without being prompted, are the only type of people who work with us.
* Whilst previous chalet experience is not a necessity, it is a definite advantage and those without experience need to show they can add something special to our team.
* All applicants must have a full UK National Insurance Number UK bank account and valid Passport.
