Description
We are looking for keen outdoor professionals to come and join our successful team on top of the Ashdown Forest in 300 acres of beautiful woodland... Free staff training every year... Free internet access in all staff rooms...
The Centre is a well-established provider of top quality Outdoor Education/Activities and operates year round with a wide variety of different groups including youth clubs, primary schools, secondary schools and young people with Special Needs. The 300 acre forest site enables the Centre to offer a tremendous range of activities to clients. When mixed in with other off-site activities the available activity programme is second to none.
Applicants should have an understanding of the value of Outdoor Education, be able to demonstrate practical capability, communicate well with young people and be good teamworkers.
Board and single accommodation is provided free of charge. Internet connection in all staff rooms. Generous annual leave entitlement and excellent opportunities for further professional development.
Requirements
Applicants should be over 21, hold some NGB activity qualifications (ideally SPA) and have previous Centre experience. Excellent opportunities for progressing professional skills and gaining further qualifications. A current First Aid qualification is required.A CRB disclosure will also be required.
