Description

Do you have a passion for outdoor activities? Do you have relevant experience, knowledge and skills you would like to share with others?

Mobex North East is an established charity set up to provide learning opportunities for groups of young or disadvantaged people across the region with the mission statement 'to enable individuals to fulfil their own potential through development training using Outdoor, Arts and Environmental activities'.

We're currently recruiting Outdoor Activity Instructors for freelance work on Friday evenings and during the day and evening on Saturdays.

This is a varied and challenging post that offers opportunity for creativity, new experiences and ongoing personal development.

Requirements

Qualified outdoor activity instructor with at least 2 of the following NGB:

  • BELA
  • BCU L2 Coaching
  • GNAS
  • SPA
  • ML
  • MBLA
  • Fencing Coach,
  • Mine Leaders Award

You must also have experience of working with young people – especially those deemed to be difficult to reach.

A Driving Licence is essential – ability to tow trailers an advantage.

We are specialists in the design and delivery of activity programmes that complement the work of youth groups, schools, colleges and universities, mental health groups, disability groups, Youth Offending Teams, the Probation Service and many, many more.

As an organisation, Mobex North East has finely tuned the ability to use outdoor education and creative experiences to provide high quality and innovative programmes to agencies working with young and older people in the North East. All programmes are designed use activities as personal and social development tools.
