Seasonal Activity Instructor

Description

We are looking for motivated, dynamic individuals who are outgoing, adventurous and great with kids! 

Working at our small but busy Training Activity Centre at Waddow Hall in Clitheroe, this will be an extremely rewarding experience in our centenary year.

As an activity instructor you will be responsible for the delivery of the sessions, the upkeep of equipment and the activity areas.

We offer on-site activities such as climbing & abseiling on our limestone crag; open canoeing, kayaking and raft building on the River Ribble, archery, night line, team building, low ropes and mountain biking. Not only will you be working with Brownie and Guide Units, but also schools, youth groups and corporate delegates.

We provide excellent training opportunities, flexible contracts, work placements and the opportunity to participate in an exciting, challenging and highly rewarding environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a relevant first aid certificate and at least one of the following:

* UKCC (BCU) level 1 or BCU (old style) Level 2
* SPA or Girlguiding UK level 2 Climbing scheme
* GNAS Archery Specific Community Sports Leader Award
