Description

We now require a FEMALE chalet chef/host to run one of our 8 bed chalets in La Plagne. This is to satisfy our shared accommodation requirements.

You can spend the winter season living and working in the French Alps for a small and friendly ski chalet company, running your own 8 bed chalet and skiing or snowboarding on 5 days out of 7.

As Chalet Chef/Host you are responsible for all aspects of running an 8 bed chalet.
You will be responsible for the catering and dining aspect of the chalet providing breakfast, afternoon tea and fantastic 3 course evening meals for your guests.

You will be expected to welcome guests to the Chalet, and to help them with their luggage and settling in. You will then ensure that they enjoy their stay thoroughly. You will provide high levels of customer service to meet company standards and ensure guests have the best holiday ever.

You will need excellent cooking skills or experience, strong customer service skills or experience, high standards of cleanliness and good housekeeping skills or experience in order to give our guests the best, most enjoyable and fun winter chalet holiday.

It will also be your responsibility to conduct the weekly shop and to budget accordingly

This is a very rewarding and fun role with a variety of duties and plenty of time to enjoy the snow and mountains in winter.

Requirements

Chef trained (NVQ, in-house training etc) or SnowCrazy Cookery Course or other reputable Cookery Course.
Customer service experience.
Commercial or domestic cooking for groups and dinner parties.
Professional housekeeping/cleaning to a high standard.
Working within a set budget.
Basic French a bonus.
UK National Insurance Number.
UK Bank Account.
Full Driving Licence.
Good health and fitness.
UK resident for minimum 12 months.
