As the Activities Manager you shall be directly responsible for a team off approx 15-20 instructors, you will programme the guests activities and manage the staff rota.
You will ensure that all activity groups are staffed and that the staff are qualified/trained to lead them. You will be at the front line when welcoming guests to camp/centre, meeting teachers, parents and leaders as well as departures.
You'll be a member of the Camp/Centre Senior team answering to the Camp Director/Centre Manager and assisting in the overall camp operations. You will have a strong activities management background and hold many NGB awards at senior level.
A key part of the role is overseeing and training others in the delivery of a dynamic evening entertainments programme.

We are looking for a candidate who will be able to develop a superb rapport with Staff and Guests alike, be an Outdoor Adventure professional with Senior Adventure qualifications or experience.
You will ideally hold experience within management of Activity Centre’s and/or Summer Camps.
You should also hold one or more of the following qualifications:
BCU/ICU Coach Canoe/Kayak Level 2 Trg +, Single Pitch Assessment or Training/Mountain Leader Assessment/Training, RLSS/ILSS Beach Lifeguard, BSA/ISA Surf Coach, GNAS Archery, BFA Club Leader, Environmental Degree, Language Diploma/Degree (French/Italian/German/Spanish), First Aid qualification, D1 Driving License.
