Chalet Chef /Cook

Description

We are a small company, big on service.

As Chalet Chef your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent food, hospitality, service and assistance to guests - ensuring that their holiday exceeds their expectations.

The position will involve:

* Preparing and serving breakfast, afternoon tea and a delicious evening meal.

* Contributing to menu design and being responsible for the chalet food shopping and stock control.

Our kitchen teams are generally quite small but you will be provided with all the assistance you need in the way of food preparation, service, cleaning and other associated duties.

Requirements

* A sound knowledge of food and kitchen hygiene is essential.

* The Chalet Chef should be creative and hardworking.

* You must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused and motivated.

* Confidence to cook in large numbers is necessary along with a passion for cooking and presentation.

* Applicants should ideally hold a relevant cooking qualification and demonstrate good experience in a professional kitchen environment.

* Ability to drive in France would be an advantage although not a necessity.

* Whilst previous chalet experience is not necessary, it can be an advantage.

* All applicants will be asked to submit a 6-day menu plan.

* All applicants must have a full UK National Insurance Number, UK bank account and Passport.
