A challenging but extremely rewarding job based in one of the worlds largest Ski resorts!
We are currently recruiting for the key position of Catered Chalet Manager to oversee our nine catered Chalets in La Plagne, Les Arcs and La Rosiere.
This position is extremely important to our company and involves a great deal of organisation and planning, whilst at the same time having regular contact with our French based Directors, and also our chalet hosts.
We are looking for an highly motivated customer focused person, ideally with previous seasonal experience.
You may apply for this role as a couple as long as the other partner will either take a role as a driver/maintenance person, or a chalet cook.
Job Summary
Setting up of all the catered Chalets at the start of the season
Assisting with training of staff
Responsibility for ensuring that all budgets are adhered to and all financial records maintained
Overseeing the quality and presentation of Chalet meals, as well as the hygiene/cleanliness of the Chalets
Liaising with guests, and being the first point of contact for any complaints
Collection and distribution of pre ordered ski passes
Responsibility for ensuring all staff keep to procedures and menu plans as laid down by Mountain Heaven Ltd
Closing down of all catered Chalets at the end of the season
Requirements
Skills and Experience required
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Proven communication, leadership and motivational skills
Ability to work very hard all season whilst remaining cheerful, positive and courteous to all guests and staff ( even the difficult ones )
Clean, tidy and presentable at all times
Computer literate and able to use spreadsheets
Ability to ski
Previous seasonal experience in a catered Chalet
Notes:
You must have a Uk National Insurance number and a UK Bank account. You will recieve a monthly wage which will be paid into your bank account.
You must be available for interview in the UK in the next couple of weeks.
