Chalet Host/Cook

Spend the winter working in some of the best ski resorts in the world!

As a Chalet Host your responsibilities will include overseeing the smooth running of your chalet providing catering and housekeeping for guests and keeping within the set budgets.
 
You will provide excellent quality meals and present your chalet to a high standard for between 4 and 20 guests. This involves preparing breakfast, afternoon tea and a four course evening meal including canapés, plus daily housekeeping and entertaining your guests. You will also be required to provide lunch for the children in Esprit chalets. In our larger chalets there are opportunities for friends and couples to run the chalet together.
 
It will be expected that as a Chalet Host you will have a passion for good food and excellent guest service. You should have a friendly and outgoing personality, with excellent organisation and communication skills.
 
As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with luggage and lifting. You will be expected throughout the season to fully support the chalet and Esprit Child Care programmes in your resort.

Required experience:

• Catering qualification or cooking experience essential
• Hospitality and customer service experience essential
• EU passport holders only, with UK residency and permanent UK National Insurance number
