Description

This role involves delivering instruction through structured sailing and multi activity courses. The instructional team will be responsible for ensuring a professional and safe working environment, as well as helping out with other activities and maintenance duties. In additional to experience, the Instructor needs enthusiasm, motivation and a high level of safety consciousness. Flexibility and versatility are important assets due to the variety of courses and activities on offer.

Requirements

To run or assist with courses applicable to your qualifications. Demonstrate a high standard of Safety, Skills and Instruction. Undertake regular evening duties aboard Egremont as directed. Follow Standard Operating/Standard Working Procedures on a daily basis. Maintain a high standard of care for all equipment. To participate in additional activities when required. Assist with daily checks and running maintenance of the equipment, as directed. To handle small powered craft including launches. Assist with domestic duties, particularly but not exclusively, on changeover days. To work with other Instructional and Management staff to improve systems, generate new ideas and implement improvements from course feedback. To maintain a high standard of decorum and personal hygiene. To present a professional image at all times. Any other duties, as may be required from time to time, within the context of a growing organisation.
