The Manor House is an exceptional activity centre set in a luxurious 18th Century Manor House, close to the beaches of North Cornwall, providing residential activity courses to mainly private prep schools. We also offer hen activity weekends, family activity holidays and corporate events.

We will train you to provide safe, challenging and fun activities in many fabulous off site locations, where you will be leading your individual group in their chosen activities.

You will be part of a small team, with fabulous developmental potential and responsibility at a level suitable to your progress.

You will be climbing amazing sea cliffs, surfing, kayaking in estuaries and the sea, and cycling all kinds of terrain, whilst also leading coastal and moorland walks and orienteering competitions. In fact, you will have the time of your life whilst giving the experience of a lifetime to your group!

We also provide opportunities for you to improve on or gain NGB qualifications during the season.

Our pay scale provides increases in salary in recognition of new qualifications you gain and a staff bonus scheme.

As part of a small team you will also gain tremendous group management experience, soft skills and technical skills far in advance of expectations than if you were part of a large team.

Requirements

You should be energetic, enthusiastic for all things outdoors and be dedicated to achieving our high standards of delivery and …

* You need to have a good all round level of physical fitness

* Have some experience of working with young people

* Experience in some if not all of the activities that you look to become qualified in i.e. surfing, beach life guarding, kayaking, climbing.

* A full driving licence is essential

* PCV minibus driving licence desirable, although full training will be arranged

* MINIMUM AGE 21 YEARS, due to PCV driving laws
