Description
We have a great opportunity for the right person to join our Centre in North Norfolk to support the company in delivering experiential outdoor education and adventure programmes for our guests.
We are looking for an experienced outdoor instructor who is keen to develop their training skills by training, developing and motivating our staff to deliver excellent learning experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for supporting the development of the programme team to ensure the Centre has qualified staff, delivering sessions
of high standard by training, observing, providing feedback and supporting development. You will also be required to deliver some sessions and assist our Central support teams on Centre as requested.
Requirements
Skills/Qualities and Requirements/Experience:
- Experience in delivering quality outdoor educational sessions to young people - Essential
- Proven competence at delivering and training a variety of sessions to a wide selection of client types – Essential
- Proven understanding/competence of training delivery plus knowledge of experiential learning and outdoor education theory/practise.
- Display a continuous positive behaviour with a willingness to learn.
- Demonstrate adaptability and problem solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player with a proven commitment to developing and training others - Essential
- Capable of working on own initiative and be keen to learn new skills and self-develop.
