Activity Instructors

Description

We are looking for motivated, dynamic individuals who are outgoing, adventurous and great with kids! 

As an activity instructor you will be responsible for the delivery of the sessions, the upkeep of equipment and the activity areas.

Foxlease is a residential and activity centre set in 65 acres of national park near Lyndhurst in Hampshire.

We offer on-site activities such as climbing & abseiling, canoeing, kayaking and raft building, archery, night line, team building and low ropes. Not only will you be working with members of Girlguiding UK, but also schools, youth groups and corporate delegates.

We provide excellent training opportunities, flexible contracts, work placements and the opportunity to participate in an exciting, challenging and highly rewarding environment.

Requirements

The successful candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers of all ages, enthusiasm and the ability to run safe and enjoyable activity sessions as well as the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.

The successful candidate will also hold a relevant first aid certificate and at least one of the following:

* UKCC (BCU) level 1 or BCU (old style) Level 2
* SPA or Girlguiding UK level 2 Climbing scheme
* GNAS Archery Specific Community Sports Leader Award
