Description

Do you want to spend the winters in the mountains helping to tutor some of Britains up and coming ski stars? We are currently recruiting for an Educational Tutor for Maths and Physics.

The Team Evolution alpine race academy programme is designed for athletes looking to work within a professional structure that is dedicated to their development both on and off the slopes. Team Evolution provides successful and progressive alpine training opportunities for committed young student-athletes who are looking to pursue their athletic and educational goals, “In Pursuit of Excellence.”

In a training environment focused on hard work and commitment, which enables trainees to learn life lessons by risking failure and learning from success, the programme provided by the Team Evolution set-up are student-athlete centred at all times. This includes delivering an educational support programme to the trainees which allows them to stay on top of their UK schooling, whilst spending significant amounts of time based in a mountain training environment. The programme allows our athletes to train all year round, skiing in the day time and having school in the afternoons.

The academy training base in Radstadt, Austria provides a "home away from home" where the student athletes and staff live for the season, the staffing team made up of knowledgable and committed pastoral staff, tutors and coaches who are passionate about their roles in developing the athletes and the programme, and obviously love the mountains!

The Programme currently works in cooperation with the National Governing Body to provide a training base to the British World Cup teams, and as such we are constantly developing our student-athlete programme to help take the younger trainees to the next level.
