At Wildchild, our immersive outdoor adventure experiences help children make memories as they embark on a lifetime of adventure.

We’re looking for a motivated senior outdoor activity leader to join our team working on our school residential camps on an outdoor centre in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. This is an ideal opportunity if you enjoy working with children, love working outdoors, and want to join a fun and friendly team.

Working with school groups and with overall responsibility for the safety and enjoyment of the children whilst taking part in a wide range of outdoor activities, including bushcraft, team-building, climbing, archery, abseiling, high ropes. Confident and a good communicator and excellent team-player, the ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing, have experience of working with children and be interested in outdoor activities and education.

This is a six-month full-time position running from April to October, with the potential to extend the contract for the right person. This is a unique opportunity to join our rapidly growing organisation, and for the right candidate there is the opportunity to help us grow and shape the direction of our organisation, and take on a lead development role going forward.

Experience of working with children, ideally in an outdoor adventurous environment.   Relevant training will be given and applicatants must hold or be willing to undertake the necessary safeguarding, first aid training and DBS check.  NGB qualifications not essential, but a passion for inspiring children to love the outdoors and undertake new experiences is a must!
