LOOKING FOR RYA DINGHY INSTRUCTORS

As a Dinghy Instructor you'll be reporting to the Chief Instructor. Previous experience instructing in an RYA centre is preferred, although not necessary. You will have good knowledge of the RYA structure, the RYA method, and experience working with various types of dinghies.
We teach equal amounts of adults and children, primarily through the learn to sail qualifications, and regular race coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to provide an enjoyable and safe training experience for students following the RYA progra
• Deliver company specific courses as per standards, policies and procedures
• Liaise with Chief Instructor and fault report any maintenance problems or damage to the centre’s dinghies and powerboats
• Proactively maintain club equipment
• Ensure a high standard of safety for students and staff is maintained at all times
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Perform other duties within your ability as requested by the Chief Instructor or Sailing Manager

Required Qualifications:

• RYA Dinghy Instructor
• Valid RYA recognized First Aid
  

Desirable Qualifications:

• Any Dinghy Instructor endorsements (particularly Race Coach Level 2, SAILfoil Instructor)
• Powerboat Instructor
• Senior Instructor

• Representing and acting as an ambassador for the club
