Description

Mountain Heaven are a small, family owned and run ski company who have been running catered ski chalets since 2003. We are based in La Plagne, Courchevel, Meribel, La Tania, La Rosiere and Morzine and have a reputation for looking after and supporting our staff.

We are now looking to recruit 2 Resort Managers to oversee the smooth running of all day to day operations , one be based in La Plagne and the other to be based in the 3 valleys. 

The role is diverse , involving customer service, staff management, quality control ,logistics and planning .:

Key responsibilities:

  • To set up each resort prior to the opening of the ski season.
  • Help with staff training
  • Manage the resort staff team
  • Delivering te highest standard of customer service to our guests.
  • Quality control
  • Ensuring that all staff are carrying out their roles in an efficient way in keeping with procedures and Health & Safety and Hygiene requirements and up to date information passed on
  • Coordinate Chalet requirements 
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing staff performance
  • Developing and maintained relationships with guests, pro actively ensuring they have a great holiday
  • Hold weekly team meetings feeding back on budgets, best practice,guest feedback 
  • Cover host duties in case of sickness, but also help out as and when required on a daily basis
  • Completing all paperwork efficiently and within time-scale
  • Be presentable and pro active at all times
  • Deal with customer questions and complaints.
  • Maximise communications and relationships between Directors, Managers, staff and UK office

 

Requirements

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working, professional people who have previous experience of managing people but do not necessarily need to have worked a ski season.
 
Experience and Skills Required :

 

  • You should be highly motivated, resilient, resourceful, energetic and flexible
  • To possess an eye for detail 
  • Plenty of experience of dealing with the public in a customer service oriented environment
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • A  clean driving license
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities
  • Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Fluent French speaker
