An exciting new indoor snowsports and climbing centre has been granted full planning permission from Middlesbrough County Council. The Subzero Snow Centre will be a £30m development built on a 7 acre brownfield site at Middlehaven Dock, Middlesbrough.
The centre plans to offer a wide range of indoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, climbing, trampolining and skydiving. There will be two ski slopes - a 52 x 50m nursery slope and a 165 x 30m main slope. Plans to enhance the location’s water facilities on the surrounding dock area with a cable ski and unit surf pool are also being considered.
