Robinwood Activity Centres are offering relocation incentives of up to £1500 to new Activity Group Leaders joining them during their current recruitment drive for apppointments starting in January 2024). The £150 re-settlement allowance is available for new starters who need to move to the area if they take up a job with Robinwood at their Barhaugh Hall Activity centre in Alston, Cumbria.

Robinwood have a policy of only offering permanent jobs with year-round employment and they do not provide staff accommodation as they believe it’s much better for well-being and work-life balance if staff are able to choose their own place to live rather than staying in Robinwood staff houses. Their centres are situated in areas where there is a good supply of affordable rental properties.

Starting salaries at Barhaugh Hall are currently £23,213 based on a 36 hour working week (£12.40 per hour).

Robinwood welcome applications from positive, enthusiastic people who have some experience (paid or voluntary) working with children. Qualifications are not necessary as they provide all training, although an interest and some experience in the activities they offer is useful.
