If working in a busy kitchen environment preparing food for groups of children and young adults is the job you want to do, then Ford Castle is the place for you!

A medieval castle set in the rolling countryside with exciting activities hidden within the grounds. We can provide you with the opportunity to learn and take your catering career to the limit.

As a kitchen assistant at Ford Castle you will be working with a team of like-minded people who all are enthusiastic about delivering the best quality meals and service to our guests, your duties will include, basic food preparation, serving, washing up and cleaning of the kitchen, helping ensure all HACCP considerations are met, accepting and checking stock deliveries, cooking breakfast or evening meals on some days, whilst ensuring that excellent Food Hygiene practises are adhered to at all times, all whilst making new friends and revelling in a lifestyle and experience which you will be furthermore.

Requirements

We are looking for applicants who are…

Over the age of 18
Have passion and pride for work in the kitchen
Flexible about their location and happy to live on site at Ford Castle
Motivated and committed to developing their career
Have experience working in a kitchen environment
Safeguarding and Protecting Children certificate (desirable)
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
